Bus Routes
Budget cuts have now led to the original Dovenby, Bridekirk and Tallentire bus services being withdrawn.

Buses run along the A594 Cockermouth to Maryport road and divert through villages ending in Maryport. Service number 68 timetable is here.
There are hardly any useful bus services near Bridekirk Parish apart from Service 600 from Cockermouth to Carlisle which still runs along the A595 Cockermouth to Carlisle road. The timetableare is here.
