Volunteering as a driver is a flexible and rewarding way to give something back to the local community. Our drivers play a vital role in helping people access essential appointments, social activities and opportunities to stay connected. The people we support are incredibly grateful, and for many of them, these journeys are the difference between being able to get out and about or remaining isolated at home.

The demand for the service continues to grow. Recently, we had to decline four requests for assistance in a single week because we simply did not have enough volunteer drivers available. It was incredibly disappointing to be unable to help those individuals, and it highlights just how urgently we need to grow our team of volunteers.
