You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of the Bridekirk Parish Council to be held on Thursday 10th July 2025 in Bridekirk Church at 7.30pm for the purpose of transacting the following business.

1.4.2025 To receive apologies for absence.
2.4.2025 To approve as a true record the minutes of the meeting held 13th March 2025
3.4.2025 Declarations of interest in items on the agenda.
4.4.2025 Suspension of Standing Orders for members of the public to speak.

- Application: Ref No: HOU/2025/0089 Applicant: Mr & Mrs Wilcock Proposal: Conversion of existing integral garage to new habitable space, replacement/alteration of rear windows and addition of cladding to rear offshoot. Location: The Grove, Tallentire, CA13 0PR – Previously circulated, no objections.
- Notice of Approval : Ref: VAR/2025/0011 Applicant: Chris Scammell ; Proposal : Variation to condition 1 of approved application VAR/2024/0011 to amend house type on plot 2. Location: Land near Bonnyhill Farm, Bridekirk, Cockermouth – Previously circulated.
- Application: Ref No: FUL/2025/0071 Applicant: James Steel Proposal: An agricultural building to extend existing building to house a new milking parlour. Location: Anns Hill, Bridekirk, CA13 0NY – Previously circulated, no objections.
- Notification on works to Tree Preservation Order: Applicant: James O’Brien, Proposal: TO1 Sycamore, almost completely dead with one small branch of weakened growth, stem ivy covered. Previously hard pruned into old growth. Along boundary fence, remove to eliminate potential hazard. T02: Ash, moderately sized with significant Ash dieback nearing 75% crown mortality, remove to eliminate risk overhanging garden and in range of property. G01: Mixed species Holly, Hawthorn, Ash, Sycamore, Hazel, side prune to fence line up to 5m to create hedge face along garden boundary.
